Grief has no timetable

Dr. Susan O. BamideleOctober 6, 20261 min read

There is no right way, and no right speed, to grieve.

Grief often comes in waves. Some days feel almost normal; others knock the wind out of you. Both are part of the process.

  • Let yourself feel what you feel
  • Keep small routines: meals, sleep, a short walk
  • Talk about the person you've lost
  • Ask for help — and accept it

Grief is love with nowhere to go. Give it somewhere safe to land.
